We had such an incredible experience working with Gabby at Arthur Murray to learn our dream wedding first dance. From start to finish, everything turned out perfectly. Gabby was patient, kind, and an amazing teacher — she made the entire process feel fun, approachable, and never overwhelming. Honestly, she felt more like a friend than an instructor, which made such a difference during what could have been a stressful time. Our only minor callout (not related to Gabby at all) is that the studio rooms can get busy, and we were sometimes sharing space with other lessons and music, which could be a bit distracting. If you’re someone who gets distracted easily, just be mindful of the time you book. Overall, we highly recommend Arthur Murray — and especially Gabby — for anyone looking to feel confident and prepared for their wedding dance. We’re so grateful for the experience!

Before Arthur Murray Montclair, my now-husband and I were two painfully nervous, rhythm-challenged humans with absolutely zero confidence on a dance floor. After Arthur Murray Montclair? We walked into our wedding reception feeling like actual stars. Our instructor Gabby deserves a standing ovation. She is warm, hilarious, endlessly encouraging, and somehow made us believe that we could realistically end up on Dancing With the Stars. She built our confidence week by week, never made us feel awkward or embarrassed, and celebrated every tiny win like it was a championship moment. Thanks to Arthur Murray Montclair (and Gabby!), we didn’t just survive our first dance — we owned it. We felt confident, connected, and genuinely proud of ourselves. Arthur Murray Montclair is the BEST place to learn your "first dance" for your wedding. My husband and I started private lessons with Gabby a few months before our wedding. Working with Gabby and the studio was the best part of wedding planning. We looked forward to the lighthearted, exciting lessons that brought us even closer after 9 years together! We still do our dance to ‘Sway (Quien Sera)’ by Dean Martin now, 2 months later. Francisco and I had very specific requests for the dance, mainly: the choreography should have an ease and natural flow with both the latin rhythms and old-timey swagger of the song, and we also wanted to learn to synchronize our movements as a couple even when we're out dancing unchoreographed. Of course, Gabby and the studio exceeded our expectations times a million! Thank you Gabby and thank you to the whole dance studio family!
