My wife wanted to take dance lessons for our first dance at our wedding. I, having zero dancing experience, was hesitant but agreed. We booked 10 private lessons with Melissa at Arthur Murray and it was one of the best investments we ever made! Melissa was patient, professional, detailed, and shared her expertise every step of the way. She first taught us individual steps and as our lessons went on, she started to connect all of them, creating a fully custom dance routine. Melissa was able to easily identify whatever was getting us hung up at certain moves and make suggestions to help us overcome the issue. Amongst hectic wedding planning, our 2x per week dance lessons gave us a break from the chaos where we could spend some quality time together. We recently had our wedding and our dance went very well! Melissa had prepared us for any obstacle that we may have encountered while dancing in a new environment with a lot of eyes on us. All of the hard work was worth it and I recommend anyone wanting an elevated first dance book with Melissa! Thank you for everything!!

She, along with the entire team at the studio, made us feel comfortable and confident, and managed to make us look like professionals on the dance floor! I’ve been going here 3 and 1/2 years and it has truly changed my life. I immediately fell in love with everything it had to offer and was the missing part I needed in my life. They’ve gotten me through tough times and got to have some of the most amazing experiences! The instructors are incredible and have helped me discover this new passion for ballroom dancing! I absolutely love and adore them-they are patient, kind, professional and so much fun to be around!
