Montclair Public Library

I was really impressed with Montclair Public Library. As soon as you enter there is a nice and warm feeling that I would always get as a kid going to the library. There’s plenty to do here with 3 floors, a ton of sections and even a cafe. The children’s section especially is really well planned out and maintained. We need more libraries like this.

We renewed our daughter’s passports today and it was a wonderful experience. The process could not have been easier or less stressful. I made the appointment online a few days ago and someone from the library called me the next day to review what I needed to bring and the forms that were required. I received a text reminder and email and when we arrived they were ready to see us right away. The person who helped us was courteous and quick. This is the ONLY way to do passports. Highly, highly recommend!!

The staff were remarkable. Due to transportation delays, I arrived late. They helped me just the same. Guided me through some difficult issues, stood by me as I filled out some forms, gave me options about processing. Even told me precisely what to expect when passport material arrives. For mailing, even told me the l postage I would likely be charged at the post office. The two women who helped me were so helpful and efficient. BOTH would easily score 10 out of 10.
