Skudin Surf

Skudin Surf at American Dream is absolutely worth the drive every time! My kids look forward to getting in the water and seeing the amazing staff— whom we truly adore. Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The experience is always top-notch: the waves are perfect, the music sets the vibe, and the space is ideal for kids to learn and grow their love of surfing. The team is kind, helpful, and incredibly patient, making it such a welcoming place for families. We're so grateful to have a little taste of paradise so close to home!

This was a fun experience in a controlled environment. I would do this again. The staff is great. They started on time and were pleasant. Follow their instructions even if you are scared and you will catch some waves. I took one star off for the facility ( I know this isn't directly their fault but hear me out). The facility looks nice but it needs to be better cared for. There were three individual bathrooms by the pool used to change. It smelled strong of urine (like someone peed on every surface) I went to another room because I thought it was only that one, but the other one smelled the same. I get that the facility is being used all day by hundreds of people but maybe only do morning classes or make sure that the those few bathrooms are bleached before the evening class. Once it was time to leave our bags had several roaches on and around it. I wish I could have warned the others that were still in the pool ( there were roaches on other people bags as well). When I got outside, I made sure to empty my bag and shake everything. I do not have roaches in my home, and I do not want them. Given that the bathroom smelled strong of urine and the number of roaches I saw this was definitely a facility issue. No one brought these roaches there. These roaches live here and probably come out at night when the place is empty but unfortunately about 10 of us were there. Please consider talking to the facility about cleanliness and pest control, bringing one roach home could lead to infestation of someone's home and spending money on exterminators while living uncomfortably until the problem resolves.
